My poem, “Where Pain Takes Flight“ was recently chosen for the Bainbridge Island Arts & Humanities Council, Poetry Corners, 2014 competition.  It will be on display for the month of April at Eleven Winery in downtown Winslow.

Since 1999, Poetry Corners has showcased original poems by local poets in celebration of National Poetry Month in April.  This year 53 poems were chosen from a pool of 163 submissions.  All poems will be on display in various business locations in April, and a chapbook with all the winning poems will be available for purchase at Eagle Harbor Books.  In addition all poets have been invited to read their poem on April 24th at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art  auditorium.
